Falls Church, VA, September 6, 2013 – AetherQuest Solutions, Inc. (AQS), a full-service event management company, has successfully sold its commercial interests to longtime collaborator Meeting Expectations, a meeting and association management firm based in Atlanta, GA. Moving forward, AQS will focus on expanding its event management, information technology and program management solutions solely within the Federal government. AQS’ commercial client accounts were transitioned to Meeting Expectations beginning September 2, 2013.
“I would like to thank our corporate clients for over 15 years of loyalty and commitment to our organization,” said Jeffrey Turner, AQS’ co-founder and President. “I’m excited for the new opportunities this transfer will create for them and Meeting Expectations. I am looking forward to the next chapter of AQS’ evolution, with service focused on government agencies.”
AQS has successfully provided event management solutions to a number of government agencies including the Department of Energy, the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). In addition to AQS’ current capabilities, the company will also return to its roots by once again providing CIO consulting and outsourcing services to compete for future government contracts.
“We have experienced great success in the federal market by proving innovative, cost-saving event management, information technology and program management solutions for the past 15 years,” said David Fattahian, AQS’ co-founder and Chief Executive Officer. “The rapidly evolving federal market requires that small businesses increase their flexibility and value propositions to remain competitive in response to market pressures and competition from big business. This action will allow AQS to better focus on providing great service with innovative approaches to cost management to our federal customers.”
